PCOMIL has put in place a Quality Management System in order to ensure continuous improvement of processes, products, and services. This management makes it so that all areas of the company participate actively in finding the best solutions in transportation to make COMIL a benchmark company in the market in quality and technology. The Quality
area today is split into two segments:

  • Quality Management: strives to constantly develop and improve products and production processes
    in order to ensure a healthy work environment the employee's well-being.

  • Quality Control: checks the compliance of the product during the production process, inspecting the
    quality at each step and identifying non-conformances in accordance with the technical requirements previously established.

Furthermore, COMIL participates in various programs and certifications to ensure that Total Quality is applied. Here they are:

    QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

    Makes it possible for the internal and external controls of the activities to be exercised in a clear and participatory way so that all employees are always committed to the Quality Policy. The various programs enable the processes and products to have synergy, exceeding customer expectations.

  • ISO 9001:2008

    ISO 9001:2008

    Promotes staff training and empowerment, encouraging their personal and professional growth so that they can carry out their activities in accordance with the Procedures and Work Instructions. The 1st certification took place in 2006 in the 9001:2000 version of the standard, and recertification occurred in 2009 in the 9001:2008 version.

  • 5S PROGRAM

    5S PROGRAM

    The 5S Program aims to transform the working environment and people's attitude in order to improve the quality of life of employees through the concepts of organization, cleanliness, health, environment, and self-discipline. The competition takes place every quarter with the participation of all sectors.

  • NATIONAL ABMACO PROGRAM FOR RECYCLING COMPOSITES

    NATIONAL ABMACO PROGRAM FOR RECYCLING COMPOSITES

    COMIL promotes the company growing in a sustainable manner, reducing the environmental impacts on soil, air, water, and throughout it entire supply chain. With this environmental awareness, it has been awarded the seal of ABMACO's recycling program for finding viable alternatives to using composite scrap.

  • APPROVED BY IBAMA's PROCONVE

    APPROVED BY IBAMA's PROCONVE

    This is the Air Pollution Control Program by Motor Vehicles of the National Council on the Environment, which requires all vehicles to meet emission ceilings on standardized tests and with reference fuels. Through this program, all COMIL vehicles are rigorously checked as to the emission of pollutants in compliance with public health protection policies.
